Upon entering the room, it was quite hot to move around. The rooms are smaller compared to the US, and since the buildings are old, the renovation does not compare to what we have here. The service was very helpful and nice, offering precise directions and distances to nearest attractions. The location is very central, perfect for those happy to make a short walk to Central Florence or the market. The dining experience was delicious with plenty to choose from and not as basic as made out in previous reports. The facilities are well-maintained and enjoyable.
My stay at the hotel was excellent! The rooms were spacious with a well-stocked mini bar, robes, plasma TV, and a lovely big bowl of fresh fruit. Our room had a large balcony, and the good bathroom had marble all around. I was pleasantly surprised that despite being next to the lift, we didn't hear any noise at all, thanks to the excellent soundproofing. The cleanliness was top-notch, making it the largest and cleanest room we had during our trip to Italy.
